$1M for Howard memoirs
FORMER Prime Minister John Howard is expected to receive up to $1 million for his memoirs in one of the most lucrative non-fiction publishing deals in Australia’s history.
An unofficial bidding war for the rights to Mr Howard’s autobiography has begun, with five publishing houses putting in early expressions of interest to the former prime minister.
